I have been attending many blogging related events lately. Naturally, I have been meeting a lot of new folks. The one question I always get when I introduce myself as a restaurant blogger is about favorite restaurant. Honestly there are many restaurants I like in Twin Cities but lately one restaurant comes to mind. It’s Young Joni. I am pretty sure a lot of people echo the same feeling about this restaurant.
Ever since my first visit, I have been here multiple times. This is very unusual for me or Ananta as we always like to explore new places. I love the food, the ambience, their cute waiting lounge that looks like a greenhouse but food especially.
My order usually includes a pizza and something from small plate section. Korean barbecue pizza is my favorite. It taste amazing and I guess the arugula on the pizza makes me feel better about eating pizza. My favorite from small plates definitely has to be the cauliflower! Even if you don’t like vegetables, I can guarantee you, you will like this one! Grilled chicken wings follows closely but I have noticed it is not consistent always. Nevertheless, it is still good!
I highly recommend this place not only because of it’s food but multitude of occasions it caters to. Lunch, brunch, dinner, happy hour – you name it and this place fits perfectly. The only thing that I don’t necessarily like is the long wait and of course their very confusing, very heavy entry door!
Have you been to Young Joni? What is your favorite thing about this place?
